At the last general election in 2015, Clive secured 2,630 Green votes in Taunton Deane. We wish to build on this and gain even more support in 2017. Our target is to raise £1,200, which will enable us to directly deliver our message to 58,000 households throughout the constituency.

The Green Party has promised to abolish SATs tests and end the academies programme as it announces its plans for an inspiring education system. Vix Lowthion, Green Party education spokesperson and secondary school teacher, will pledge to end the practice of testing children from the age of seven through SATs, freeing teacher and pupils from “pointless, pressured testing”.

Clive has been an elected Green Party Parish Councillor in Bishops Lydeard for the last 6 years and regularly campaigns on a variety of local issues.

East Mendip Green Party plan to hit EDF Energy where it hurts; their bottom line. Their new campaign, 'Switch EDF Off' aims to find customers of EDF Energy and encourage them to switch their energy supplier with the promise of £20 for each utility switched e.g. £40 for gas and electricity.
